At the beginning of the session, our facilitators will outline the process, give some tips for story ideas and then hand over to the individual team leaders. Coming up with cool ideas is the beginning of the fun!

Our facilitators (all seasoned film professionals) will guide the teams through the process of creating a short film, from the best way to operate the equipment to how to work with each other effectively to organise a shoot.

We generally supply some costumes and props as standard (tip: story ideas are often triggered by costumes...). If you request anything particular, tell us what you need and we'll arrange it.

Team sizes, locations etc are decided in consensus. You can decide on team roles beforehand or as is often the case, on the spot! We think it adds to the experience for this to be as spontaneous as possible. Tables might turn and you could end up directing your boss!

Once you’ve done with filming, all footage will be sent to a professional editor who will polish, edit, add music and VFX. In no time you will be able to watch your masterpiece!

We recommend a minimum of 3 to 4 hours for the filmmaking process, making it the perfect half-day team-building activity. This allows enough time for your team to collaborate on scriptwriting, step into their roles as actors and directors, and bring their creative vision to life on camera.

For teams looking to delve deeper into the filmmaking experience, we offer extended sessions that include additional time for pre-production planning, professional coaching, and post-production editing, ensuring a polished final product. Whether you’re aiming for a fast-paced creative challenge or a full immersive day, we can tailor the experience to fit your team’s needs.

We can supply specialised camera equipment but we recommend using a recent generation Iphone. Before the day we will consult with you about what filmmaking tools to download and on the day we will supply a professional gimbal setup and microphone for filming. Our facilitator will assist to make sure it all works perfectly.

Put simply, you won't. This is one of the many good reasons we only use professional filmmakers as facilitators. Their experience at managing time, script and shooting schedules means you will always get it done in time. 

Once you've finished filming our editors take charge and start editing your masterpieces right away. The footage is uploaded to an editor who will edit, polish, add music and VFX to your footage. Our company only uses professional editors so your film will look and sound amazing!

A minimum of 2 hours is required to cut and polish the film ready for screening. There is a 100% guarantee that you will have the best time watching yourselves on the screen and admiring each other’s skills and acting chops. And we’re more than happy to work with you about organising a gala screening in a cinema near you if you wish to give your team a proper red carpet experience. We can also organise a celebrity to introduce the screening and organise a Q&A with your team of stars!

The edited films are yours to keep, share, and showcase however you like! Whether you want to use it as a fun internal keepsake, a creative team-building highlight, or a unique marketing piece, you can decide.

You can share them within your company to boost morale, feature it in team meetings, or use as part of an onboarding or training session. Or post it on social media, your company website, or at corporate events to highlight your team’s creativity and collaboration.
